The year has just started and the music scene is pretty quiet, one album potentially good (The Maccabees) and a couple of good news (Jack White solo album and Radiohead touring live this summer) but the main questions of every indie rocker still remain unanswered: Who will rock this next summer? Who will be the hero of the festivals around the world in 2012? Which band will be in 2012 rookie of the year?

Unfortunately we don’t have all these answers but we know at least who’s going to hit the record shops and the internet in the next 10 months of 2012. Who are you waiting for? What’s your guess on the above open questions? Here’s a short list of our favorites:
