(Exceptionally given the quality of the songs released this year we have decided to extend the songs selection to 20, it makes a better playlist too 🙂

We have been pretty luck this year i think, with several great albums, many tunes that will stay for the next few years, a couple of anthems that might stay around for a little bit longer and some big deceptions from bands whose fans were waiting impatiently for new material since a couple of years (i.e. MUSE, The Killers).
In preparation for your Xmas dinners (and drinks) here’s our definitive selection of the top 20 of the best Indie Rock songs of 2012

1. The Vaccines – Teenage Icon
2. Jack White – Sixteen Saltines
3. Jake Bugg – Two Fingers
4. 1975 – Sex
5. Tribes – When my day comes
6. CITIZENS! – Caroline
7. Spiritualized – Hey Jane
8. The Rolling Stones – Doom and Gloom
9. The Hives – Go Right ahead
