YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!! It’s Friday!!!! We made it again!! Are you feeling the rhythm of the week-end running through your veins already? Plans are set-up to go out and enjoy life fully?
As tradition for our Sweet Classic Friday we are sharing one of the indie-rock anthem of all time: Where is My Mind from the Pixies! The song was included in the 1988 album of the american band “Surfer Rosa”. During the time it has been covered by many artists (Nada Surf, King of Leon) but in our humble opinion, one of the best cover is definitely the Placebo version included as B-Side of their 2003 album Sleeping with Ghosts.
The song has been featured in many movies and series but the most famous of all is definitely the one in Fight Club, at the end of the movie, when the world collapse. Legendary!
That’s it for this week folks, we hope that the Indie Rock Weekly Survival Kit helped you swim through the dangerous waters of the working days. We will be back on Monday for more Fuckin Rock’n’Roll.
In the meanwhile: Keep on Rocking in a Free World!
Hey Hey, My My, deserved week-end we arrive!
