Fuckin Monday is behind us. It’s time to look ahead and listen to something new! As usual on Nasty Tuesday we share the best home-made/demo recordings that our readers have shared with us. After MARCH 2 weeks ago we stay in Switzerland for some more local indie rock! Keep on sharing with us your music!

Today we share another band from Lausanne, Switzerland: “Nenuphar is what we are”. The band is composed of 4 brave guys that combine musical skills with visual arts and crazy lyrics that talk about Ronaldinho or having love with accents.

Their indie rock shows strong influences from Elliott Smith or Belle and Sebastian, is calm, funny, very very enjoyable and reminds us as well of the acoustic melodies of the Libertines Legs 11 recording.

We share the song: Ronaldinho (là où à la fin il est question de la mâchoire de) with a french title despite all the lyrics being in English. Our favorite from the demos we can find on their SoundCloud page with the full album is due to release in September.

Follow them on their social media pages:

Indie rock is about having fun, “Nenuphar is what we are” are here to remind it to us.

Hey Hey, My My, share your music with us and help us saving thousands of people’s minds on Nasty Tuesday!
