News of the day! Beady Eye have made available for streaming their new single “Flick of the Finger“.

At a first listen we were hit by the wall of sound built by Liam’s post-Oasis band. It’s close to their first album’s sound but more powerful. Some bits toward the end reminded me of “Fuckin’ in the Bushes” the intro of Oasis’ forth album: “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants”.

We are not blown away for the moment, maybe a couple of more listens will make it grow on us!
