The discovery of the week for this Nasty Tuesday comes from Italy and from the beautiful city of Florence more precisely!

The band is called The Hacienda (borrowing the name from the legendary Manchester club of the 80’s). They started the project in 2003 and in a decade-long career they toured extensively in more or less most of the rock venues of Italy winning several competitions and opening for several international acts such as: The Wombats or The Others.

In 2009 after the release of their 2nd EP “Conversation Less” they managed to cross the borders reaching the UK shores (Manchester, Oldham) and the North-East of Europe (Germany, Austria and Czech Republic). It’s in this same year that The Liberation saw them for the first time at the I-Day Festival in Milan.

Since then they have released another album: “Picking Pennies Off The Floor” plus a single with another band called Wemen (from Milan) from the same label (Black Candy).
