So ladies,

Here is episode N°3 of the “Let’s go through all the greatly fantastic Folk and Acoustic bands coming to Montreux this summer” playlist !! This week, we have the pleasure to feature a little lad from Nottingham, that we have already brought to your attention in our playlists earlier on (Liberation 2012 Top 20 SongsJanuary 13 Liberation Playlist): Jake Bugg

What’s mostly impressive about the kid is the annoying talented precocity… at the age of 17 he was chosen by the BBC to appear on their “Introducing” stage at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival (!!), and because of this he got his first label deal… at the age of 18 he was a supporting act for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (!!!) and released his 1st self-entitled studio album, which obviously hit the 1st rank in the UK charts (!!!!)… Love life? Again not surprisingly dating one of the most up and coming UK models… I wish I was still a kid…

Here is “Simple As This”, because everything seems so simple for him and because I LOVE this song:

For the passionate ones, here’s the full show he performed live on the BBC Radio 6 Music program Live at Maida Vale with a great Johnny Cash cover:

Well spotted messieurs in charge of Montreux Jazz Festival’s line-up selection 🙂
