Sad news dropped this morning with the rain: Ray Manzarek, the legendary key-board player of The Doors died aged 74.
Usually we use Nasty Tuesday to share new music, but we put that on pause for one week to pay our humble tribute to the musical genius of Mr. Manzarek. We were lucky enough to enjoy his mythical keyboard melodies 7 years ago when he toured Europe with “The Riders on the Storm” and it was magic.
Good Bye Ray, thank you for the good times. Please remember to bring your Fender Rhodes Piano to the rock star’s heaven, Jim will be there, waiting for you.
Hey Hey, My My,
