We re-start our discovery of independent young bands this week on Nasty Tuesday! We continue as well the “Duo” week, after “Bass Drum of Death” shared yesterday on Fuckin Monday sharing today “Schonwald” a band that despite the German name they are from Italy now located in the US.
The two-piece unit released their debut LP in 2009 and has been touring Europe and UK festivals in the past years and they are now ready to take on the world with their long-anticipated single: “Mercurial”.
They define their single as: “A chilling and hopelessly bleak drum-machine rhythm sets the tone, parting the waves of rippling darkness into a massive surge of inescapable, hushed-yet-crushing electronic melancholia”.
