From Thursday 26 February until Sunday 1st March, Nyon, home to many music festivals among which the renowned Paléo Festival, will be dancing to the rock n’ beat sounds of the Hivernales (http://leshivernales.ch/), an eclectic festival scattered around the city in 10 different stages. Les Hivernales, offers free concerts in selected stages like La Parenthèse, where the Swiss indie-rock band The Rambling Wheels will play on Thursday. This is not to be missed because, among other things, they will present their new album “The Thirteen Women Of Ill Repute” in an acoustic version!
Les Hivernales, this year in its 6th edition, focuses mostly on rock and electro music and will host bands from all over Europe like the British indie quartet Peace, which with The Family Rain are one of the Saturday night headliners.
I am looking forward to go from stage to stage, discovering new music and enjoy the bands I already know. And what about you, are you ready to leave your cozy couch for a great winter music escapade?
