US post-rock band Explosions in the Sky makes a stop at Les Docks to present the latest album The Wilderness (2016). You surely came across one of the band’s song in one of the many movies and TV series for which they wrote the soundtrack. It’s no wonder their instrumental rock makes you travel across time and place as if you were in a movie. The cinematic effect is heightened by the incredibly different sorts of sounds they can create, from the quiet bells to the extremely loud guitar riffs.

They many years of experience can be heard in the last album, as the song “Wilderness” shows.

If you are a fan of Mogwai and other post-rock bands you should definitely block the date of the 22nd of June 2016 to see Explosions in the Sky!
