It’s that time of year again, the time in which Montreux transforms itself in the capital of music for two weeks from the 30th June to the 15th of July 2017.
The programme is as eclectic as ever, offering the public artists from the likes of Tom Jones, bands like Alt-J and Kasabian, passing through jazz classics. There is something for every taste.
I will attend and review the following gigs:
4th of July, Fleet Foxes, Montreux Jazz Lab
A deepening folk rock which will make you travel far away.
10th of July, Kasabian, The Kills, Auditorium Stravinski
An indie rock night which will surely live a mark.
11th of July, Royal Blood, Slaves, Montreux Jazz Lab
Between Royal Blood’s drums beats and Slaves guitars’ riffs I predict a hell of a rock night!
14th of July, Passenger, The Lumineers, Auditorium Stravinski
A soulful folk which will seduce the audience.
Stay tuned for the reviews and in the mean time enjoy the 51st Montreux Jazz Festival!
