The 52nd Montreux Jazz Festival is taking place from the 29th of June until the 14th of July 2018, with a new entry this year: the House of Jazz which will host jam sessions, workshops and exhibitions.

The programme of the festival is very varied as usual, and this year rock fans are even more spoiled than usual with huge names such as Deep Purple, Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age or Jack White.

For my part, I will attend and review the following gigs:

3rd of July, The Vaccines, Iggy Pop, Auditorium Stravinski
A night with talented young rockers as well as a punk legend.

4th of July, Deep Purple, Auditorium Stravinski
The iconic Deep Purple take their “Smoke on the Water” back to where it all started.
